Post IE9 Beta To Be Released September 15th

IE9 will offer support for HTML 5, support for hardware acceleration, have a faster Javascript engine.

IE9 will not work with Windows XP.

Here again, that's why I use a dual boot system. 7 is great for some things but not for other older programs. Dual boot system doesn't detract from the PC in any way other than storage space and I have much of that.

I suppose the IE9/XP decision is part of the marketing strategy, but support for XP ends, and they don't want to sacrifice capabilities in IE9 and future products by making them backward compatible.
