See those icons pinned to your taskbar in Windows 7? Microsoft came up with nifty keyboard shortcuts to launch them. To start the first program pinned to your taskbar, hold down the Windows key and tap the letter 1 on your keyboard. Hold down the Windows key and tap 2 to launch the second one, and so one. The same keyboard shortcut that you used to launch the programs can also be used to close them.
