I've moved to 7, very happy with it.

I can't complain. With fast enough hardware, it makes it easy to forget XP.

Definitely. Much more polished than Vista too.

Nice picture Jim!

I picked XP in the poll (which I'm using as I type this) but we run machines with every version of Microsoft operating systems at the shop.

Jon.

running xp on an old box, vista on the laptop (hate it) and Win7 Pro 64 on my main PC. I use Mac's at UNI, and, even with the improvements in Win 7, will probably move to Mac when the time comes.

It would be painful if I didn't have an intel x25-m in it. Makes the Dothan processor and 1GB ram less of an issue. Disk index is 7.3 This means when I run out of memory (and I always do), disk caching is still vastly faster than a conventional HDD. Even done some photo editing on it

Ah, the SSD makes all the difference.

Still, I find SSD and graphics speed to be the most important compenents, if I had to pick just two.
