XP at home with the new I7 chip because of all the Epson scanners and printers have better drivers. Win7 on new laptop with I7 chip also.

I own 4 home computers all networked... 3 are running Windows Home 7 Family Pack and the 4th Linux (Mandriva 2008)...

I am running XP.. My hardware will not support Vista or Win7..

Vista is a nightmare.. Win7 is not bad..

Remembering back. . . Windows 3.0 and 3.2, no problem. Win 98, no problems. Windows ME, "PURE LIVING HELL". XP, no problems. Vista, no problems. Windows 7, haven't tried yet.

Most anything that gave me problems cleared up when I got rid of the kids.

ME was the worst operating system ever.

Ditto Windows ME. I skipped it and Vista entirely.

We have a desktop, laptop and netbook all running XP. Also several old dinosaurs running MSDOS 6.2 which I still use once in awhile.
