I run Windows 7 on the new laptop but have XP on two other laptops and Windows ME on an old desktop.

Every new version of Windows is a challenge. Win7 actually was the easiest to get used to for me, but then again, I did have some exposure to Vista beforehand.

I have two desktops and one laptop, all XP. I waited for Windows 7, and soon I will replace all three systems.

I would agree with that too. Without an SSD then it becomes graphics and RAM.

Windows 7 here, and coming from Vista, it was a smooth transition.

It'd be interesting to know whether more users are running Windows 7 x32 or x64.

Colby, you're a riot. You can't argue with honesty!

I can't say that Vista wasn't without it's problems so I understand your opinion. Windows 7 has much the same look and feel as Vista, but so far my experience has been that it loads faster, applications perform better and it is MUCH more stable. I have never had any of the crashes or lockups in Windows 7 that I did in Vista.

I'm running Win 7 32 bit but only because my laptop is so old the processor doesn't support 64bit. As soon as I upgrade it'll be 64bit all the way (especially since I plan to go with 10GB or more of RAM).
