I am really sorry to hear that JackAZ. I have never had that experience fortunately from a hosting provider, but I have from ISPs before when I had some trouble back circa 1998. Anyway, I hope everything is better for you and you have found a better host.

Just curious, were you on shared hosting?

I have set up websites for two companies, and used Yahoo! for them. There has never been a problem.

On the Microsoft servers side I give a big thumbs up for PowerDNN who do a fantastic job of hosting DotNetNuke sites. They save me from a disaster I had with another DNN host (Webhost4life) when my sites went down and they couldn't help.

They migrated all my sites to their servers in a couple hours and had them up and running after WH4L couldn't get them running after 6 days of downtime.

i decided to try out google sites, and that seems OK for a basic site
and then use freeparking for the domain forwarding and email
