There are a few programs – or clients – that can tie in to your accounts of most of the major social networking sites, giving you a unified view of all of them and allowing you to make posts to several from one interface.
Digsby (
http://www.digsby.com) is one, but it was really designed from the outset as an IM integrator. Tweetdeck (
http://tweetdeck.com), a well-designed application designed primarily to aggregate twitter threads, searches, and responses, also has a tie-in to Facebook.
Hellotxt (
http://hellotxt.com) will probably save you the most time if you use many social networking sites, however, as it provides you with one interface for updating your status on the most popular networking sites, including Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and quite a few others. Also, because it’s Web-based, there’s nothing to install.
You can also turn to Twhirl (
http://www.twhirl.org), another application popular among Twitter users, to update your Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn accounts as well. Which particular interface you use will probably depend upon which particular networks you are seeking to integrate. All of those mentioned here are very popular, regularly updated, and quite easy to use. Try a few to find out which suits you best.
