Does your notebook computer have hardware features - like Bluetooth - that you never use? Turn them off to conserve battery power. Visit your notebook's hardware setup program - called the BIOS - by pressing F2 or F10 just as your machine is booting up. Inspect the hardware installed, and de-activate components that you never use. The result will be improved battery life.
