Viruses in e-mail
Worried about getting a virus through e-mail? Don't be--unless you open an attachment from a source you're not familiar with. Viruses cannot be spread simply by reading the text within an e-mail message. They can be spread by opening an attachment, or by clicking a link within an e-mail message that takes you to a web site containing malicious software designed to run on your machine without your knowledge.
