Default Mac folks let's hear ya!

I just fount TTO thanks to an email announcement from PhotoCamel. So who are the Mac folks here? I have been a Mac user for about 4 years, starting with a G4 Mac Mini which my daughter is still using. After using it for about a year, I bought a Core2Duo 2.16Ghz white iMac which is still my primary machine.

I use it for internet stuff (of course,) as well as Final Cut Express and Photoshop CS4.

Fellow Mac users, let's hear ya!
Todd

Way back when I had a color mac 6*** ?(as opposed to the black and white originals...) then I slipped up and went back to the dark side for ten or so years... longer? Enough of that. I just bought a handsome 21.5" iMac and other than my company supplied laptop, I'm not going back to windoze again.

Been a Mac since 1994, working on a 24" IMac at work and a G5 Pro at home.

I'm like lputman, I purchased my iMac 27" in April, I was wanting one for a few years and now kick myself for waiting so long. It's great, just like i heard. I also use mine for internet stuff and photoshop cs5 and lightroom 3. I'll never go back to the dark side.

I also delayed a long time, fearing the trauma of major change. I've been on a basic Macbook since Dec. of 2007. The transition had some challenges, but the learning curve was not difficult and I feel as though the ball and chain of my PC life has been removed.

Now, I get on my computer and do my typing, my research on the internet, listen to music and all without fear of hiccups, shutdowns and intrusive hackers. (may it always stay that way!)

I don't use near the capability the computer offers. I need to learn more. Maybe this site will encourage me.

I'm very much a keyboard guy as much as possible, and I always found the Mac too mouse-intensive. Has that changed?

Hard to remember how much I did or did not use the mouse compared to typing back in my PC days BUT I am quite comfortable using the keyboard to type words and using the mouse to direct the computer. That said, I also know that the MAC has a lot of keyboard command potential that I haven't bothered to learn. Guess that makes me more of mouser than a keyboarder.
