Introduction........(drum roll)

Hi everyone,

Name is Allen and I found my way here from PhotoCamel. Not sure how "techy" I am but I sure do know computers fairly well. I started out building my own computer back in the days of monochrome green and bbs boards. At 39 years young I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful kids as well as own and operate a Mexican restaurant.

My hobbies consist of all things labeled art with painting and drawing in many different mediums being my most experienced areas. I also dabble in poetry from time to time but my newest hobbies, hiking and photography are fast becoming a major part of my life.

Hopefully I can contribute in some productive way to the forum here, even if only being the quiet resident lurker

Hi Allen. Nice to meet you and welcome to Techtodayonline. I too found this site through Photocamel. It is a very nice community, and similar to Photocamel in that regard.

Can't wait to hear some of your old school computer stories. Welcome aboard.

Any/all posts are welcome, and even if you don't feel ready to 'contribute', often questions spark more good ideas and discussion.

Before retiring to South America I lived in the Pacific Northwest, miss the Steelhead fishing but don't miss the snow.

I have been absent a while - mainly due to bad weather.
Yes, the weather affects my computer as I run it on solar - if there is no sun - no power!

You wonder why this post is in the introduction section - But I like to ask where are all the other introductions? On my screen is only this one page and surely there must be more --- did I do something wrong?

Perhaps someone can direct me...
