Poetry Circle led me here, though my interest is piqued by a personal desire to become more technically comfortable with the capabilities of my computer.

I use a MAC and notice many here appear to still swim in the PC pool. No matter, I believe I can still learn a lot.

I live in Oregon, mostly use the computer for writing (stories, poems, essays, journals) and online classes/forums related to writing (mostly). I would like to do more with photoshop type activities (not necessarily photoshop, but that idea) to create digital collages, presentations and do something interesting with family photos.

I also am attempting to do more with music - some composing but mostly as an aid for playing music (I play a tenor saxophone).

Think I'll go wander the forums a bit more...
