I tried an experiment that I had gleaned from the net regarding using a satellite dish as a collector for a 3G signal. I had purchased a spare Direct TV satellite dish for the stantion to mount my FM antenna and had the dish in my storage shed. I mounted the Alcatel hsdpa modem in front of the original LNB and connected via USB 2.0 to my PC. I have to tell you, the internet has never, I mean never worked this well before, I am amazed at the speed now.
