Better screen caps

What do you use to capture screens?

I've found nothing better than Snagit.

I use cropper, it's a small lightweight app written in C# that is fast and easy to use, it does not have the full features of Snagit, but it's free Cropper

I've been using Snagit for about 10 years, can't find anything better, just upgraded to Snagit 10

Snagit is costly at 49 bucks, but it's great when you need it.

Yeah, but you get a discount when you upgrade... They have a great support forum, and a lot of free stamps in the Gallery

Print screen is like brute force.

We should note that Alt-PrtScn allows you to snap just the foreground window.

I just use PrtScn and Photoshop...

Alt+PrtScn would be fine, but I usually have windows maximized, so the Alt part of the equation doesn't make any difference...
