At a Canadian WalMart a few days ago I found a really useful trouble light that runs on AA batteries. It essentially duplicates the kind of 110v trouble light you might use when working under the hood of your car, and even has a hook to hang it where needed. This light is about a foot long, has 28 LEDs, and gives you the brightest flood light you should ever need when you're out on the road and have an emergency. All you have to do is just keep a few spare AA batteries in your vehicle along with your tools and you're good to go. Of course, in your own garage, it also saves you the time and inconvenience of stringing out your trouble light and extension cord.
This set me back less than $15 Canadian and probably would be available in the U.S for under $10. I gave this one to my wife and she likes it better than any flashlight she has ever had. She hangs it on the cupboard now, always handy in case of a power outage. __________________

Sorry, I don't -- I just blundered into the thing at the store and bought it. But I bought another in another WalMart a month or two ago, so it probably could be found, say on a WalMart website, maybe. If I get more time, I could try and post a link.

Here's something similar - uses three AAs.
LED Battery Operated Trouble Light, LED Work Light, LED Utility Light, LED Yellow Trouble

That looks a lot like ours, except ours is black instead of yellow.
