I had homemade fried chicken chunks tonight with rice. Yum. It was the first dinner I've had in 3 days. Yikes.

Cazuela de Mariscos...or to you gringo's a sea food casserole consisting of shrinp. chunks of fish, potato bits, mushrooms, onion in a tomato cream sauce baked in a small individual casserole dish. Incidently here in Colombia I have a 24/7 maid and cook.

I got out the spice grinder, mortar and pestle and made some from-scratch Thai yellow curry paste. Used it with some coconut milk, fish sauce and sugar to cook mussels, scallops and tiger prawns. Totally awesome.

For lunch today I defrosted a slice of pizza from Haystack Pizza in San Francisco. I'm down to one more slice, so I've got to stock up on more!
