Default Get rid of IE8 Welcome Page

The Welcome Page never seems to go away in Win7, even if you complete the stupid questions.

Try this: Add the following key to regedit:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
"IE8RunOnceCompleted"=dword:00000001

even easier, use FF instead.

Yeah, it's worth bookmarking because this has happened with every installation of Windows 7 I've done--and I've done a lot.
