Hi I have never used any studio lights and was curious to what to buy.I have ebeen told that AB's are not6 that great by some and sworn by others. I think I am leaning towrds ElinchromeD-lite it 400 but I am totally up for some experienced opinions......anyone have one?

By the way I have about a grand to spend but I was hopeing to get a light meter as well but will overspend my budget if it would be worth it in the long run
