Default Wonderful Flashlight

I use this in photograpy for "light-painting" an object because these put out a daylight temperature light, of 5500 to 6000 Degrees Kelvin. But it is really more of a survival-type flashlight, and the one I take "just in case".

It is the Heliotek Model HTE-1. http://www.heliotekinc.com/Products.htm

  • Runs 6-8 hours at full brightness on one set of batteries
  • Runs from -40°F to 115°F
  • Will take extremely rough usage due to high impact resistance of LexanŽ and stainless steel battery case
  • Floats
  • Will work under water in excess of 150 feet
  • Switch has both "constant-on/off" or "momentary-on/off" for conserving power or signaling
  • Non-slip grip
  • Flashlight weighs less than 6 ounces
  • It will produce a spot up to 200 feet away yet has sufficient side spill flood for walking and has a readily operated diffuser lens which can also be removed, if desired.
