Those devices were all modern apparatus. I used a Freiden Rotary Calculator with a ball stricker like an old IBM typewriter for 4 years to adjust the gas mixture daily for an entire town. We then bought a Hewlett Packard 4 function computer with a plotter for $65,000. A $2.00 pocket calculator today has more power, makes you wonder what the next 10 years will bring?
